If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the App.
ShieldStep Pro is a digital wellness and financial guardrail utility. The App uses advanced localized support mechanisms (including Android Accessibility Services and System Overlay configurations) to provide a mindful pause and safely redirect your screen away from recognized platforms in Kenya before an impulsive transfer takes place.
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to use this App.
Voluntary Commitment: By activating ShieldStep Pro, you explicitly acknowledge and grant the App permission to provide guardrails for your device's access to designated payment gateways. You understand that the App is designed to create a 15-minute reflection window to support mindful behavior.
Committed Protection Framework: By activating a paid wellness subscription and enabling Android Accessibility and System Overlay configurations, you explicitly instruct and authorize ShieldStep Pro to implement real-time behavioral support mechanics on your device.

System Configurations: To function effectively, the App requires Android Accessibility and System Overlay configurations. You explicitly authorize the App to utilize these background behaviors strictly to locally provide guardrails.

Payments are processed securely via mobile billing integrations. All payments made to ShieldStep Limited are non-refundable due to the immediate digital availability of the service.
By agreeing to these terms, you understand that you are voluntarily ceding immediate access to certain device settings (specifically standard force-stop or instant app deletion) for the duration of your active subscription or 24-hour reflection window.
System Disclaimer: While ShieldStep Pro utilizes dynamic tracking algorithms across recognized platforms, mobile operating systems frequently update. ShieldStep Limited does not warrant that the App will catch every transactional loophole created by third-party updates.
Limitation of Liability: SHIELDSTEP LIMITED SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY FINANCIAL LOSSES, RECOVERY LAPSES, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCURRED BY THE USER. Ultimate responsibility for financial choices rests solely on the User.
The App's user interface design, codebase, registry database schema, branding materials, and the name "ShieldStep Pro" are the exclusive intellectual property of ShieldStep Limited. Unauthorized reproduction or reverse-engineering is strictly prohibited.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Kenya. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.

By installing, activating, or using the ShieldStep Junior mobile application ("the App") or our services, you ("the Parent/Guardian" or "the User") enter into a legally binding agreement with SHIELDSTEP LIMITED ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company incorporated in the Republic of Kenya (Company No: PVT-A71MBLRO).
ShieldStep Junior is a parental digital wellness and child safety utility. The App uses localized detection mechanisms (including Android Accessibility Services and System Overlay configurations) to monitor, restrict, and redirect screen access away from unauthorized apps, harmful web content, adult materials, and unapproved financial transaction prompts on a child's device.
2.1 Legal Consent: This agreement must be accepted by a parent or legal guardian over 18 years of age who has legal authority over the child's device.
2.2 Enforced Protection & Anti-Bypass Framework: By enabling Android Accessibility and System Overlay permissions on the child's device, the Parent/Guardian explicitly authorizes ShieldStep Junior to implement real-time safety guardrails. You acknowledge that the core utility of the Service relies on its ability to prevent bypass maneuvers by minor users.
2.3 Anti-Uninstallation Protocol: To prevent minors from circumventing parental boundaries:
System Permissions: The App requires Android Accessibility and System Overlay (Draw Over Other Apps) configurations to function. You authorize the App to utilize these background behaviors strictly to enforce configured safety rules locally.
Privacy Assurance: ShieldStep Junior operates on a strict Privacy-First Architecture. All scanning and string matching occur locally on the device. ShieldStep Limited does not view, collect, read, or store personal chat messages, bank balances, PINs, or private files on external servers.
Pricing Packages: Access to ShieldStep Junior features is structured into parent subscription passes:
Payment & Renewals: Subscriptions are managed by the Parent/Guardian and processed via integrated mobile wallet services.
No-Refund Policy: Payments made to ShieldStep Limited are non-refundable due to the immediate digital availability of the service.
5.1 Disclaimer of Device Autonomy: By accepting these terms, the Parent/Guardian understands that immediate access to certain settings on the child's device (specifically standard force-stop or instant app deletion) is restricted to maintain protection integrity. ShieldStep Limited shall not be liable for operational delays caused by active safety safeguards.
5.2 System Disclaimers: While ShieldStep Junior utilizes dynamic detection algorithms, mobile operating systems update frequently. ShieldStep Limited does not warrant that the App will block 100% of unauthorized content or catch every possible system bypass.
Limitation of Liability: SHIELDSTEP LIMITED SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. Ultimate supervision of the child remains the responsibility of the Parent/Guardian.
